Wizkid Becomes 5Th Richest African Musician

In 2017, Star Boy 'Wizkid' left EME to join Sony Music Worldwide, after opening and sealing awards in African Music. The dancehall, Afrobeat and reggae artist became known as a Sony Artist signed to RCA records USA with an undisclosed fee just after he announced exit from EME. EME has been his support for years since he entered the music lane and it helped him gained his popularity in 2010 with the sing 'Holla At Your Boy'.

He became named an Africa Artist with alot of value, according to Billboard 'Bankable African Musician' in the top five listing carried out by Forbes. He co produced and sang a song 'One Dance' with American Artist Drake at the stretch of his music contract with Sony BMG. The song made Top 100 on Billboard Muic after the release. Making the top 5 people to become Bankable in African Music, makes him one of the five richest African Musicians worldwide.
