nPDP stalwarts to meet Buhari, Osinbajo Monday

In continuation of the dialogue over the
grievances of members of the new
Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) bloc
of the ruling All Progressives Congress
(APC), another meeting between the
group and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will hold Monday. Attendees at
the meeting are expected to meet
President Muhammadu Buhari later in the day
after their meeting with the Vice President to
intimate him about the outcome of their
meeting. The nPDP group led by a former Acting
chairman of PDP, Alh Abubakar Baraje had
last week met with the national executives of
the party to discuss, and possibly resolve,
their differences. Baraje confirmed the planned meetings with
the Vice President and the President Buhari to

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) says it will clampdown on commercial motorcycle operators on the AYA-Nyanya road on Monday. Chairman, FCT Ministerial Taskteam on Traffic Management, Mr Ikharo Attah made the disclosure in a statement, on Sunday in Abuja. Attah disclosed that the operation would commence on Monday, March 2, adding that any motorcycle impounded during the exercise would not be released to anyone. According to him, the rate at which commercial motorcycle operators ply the road has reached an alarming proportions. ” While they are permitted to operate at Nyanya and Karu, they are not expected to reach Abacha barracks and AYA in Asokoro District ”.
