Sports family pay tributes to Aboderin
Tributes have flooded in from sports personalities for one of the
major financiers of sports in Nigeria Wale Aboderin. The Punch Nigeria
Limited chairman and Dolphins Basketball Club founder passed away
after a heart surgery at the First Cardiology Consultants in Ikoyi,
Lagos, on Wednesday at the age of 60. The Nigeria Basketball
Federation president Musa Kida led the tributes saying, "For a man who
was so full of life and energy to just be reported dead will forever
remain a mystery," Kida said in a statement by the NBBF after the
board paid a condolence visit to the deceased's family in Lagos on
Thursday. "His investment in basketball was unparalleled and the
vacuum he left will be impossible to fill."-Punchngnews
