Coronavirus: Stay at home, Buhari tells FG workers

The Federal government of Nigeria have issued stay at home orders to its workers. 

According to Punch website, This was concluded and a circular was signed by the Head of the civil service of the federation in person of Folashade Yemi-Esan to take effect from the 24th of March. 

The reason behind this is to prevent the further spread of the Corona virius pandemic.

The was copied to many offices from the top to ensure it reaches the notice of all staff. The circular ensures that all staff from grade level 1 to 12 stay at home.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) says it will clampdown on commercial motorcycle operators on the AYA-Nyanya road on Monday. Chairman, FCT Ministerial Taskteam on Traffic Management, Mr Ikharo Attah made the disclosure in a statement, on Sunday in Abuja. Attah disclosed that the operation would commence on Monday, March 2, adding that any motorcycle impounded during the exercise would not be released to anyone. According to him, the rate at which commercial motorcycle operators ply the road has reached an alarming proportions. ” While they are permitted to operate at Nyanya and Karu, they are not expected to reach Abacha barracks and AYA in Asokoro District ”.
